Upon admission, clients may require detoxification (detox) depending on their substance use history. The client will be assessed by a medical professional and will be asked questions about what substances the client has been using, how much the client has been using, and how recently the client has used. The process of detoxification is supervised around the clock by medical staff. Our detoxification protocols and comfort medications are used to minimize the discomfort and reduce the symptoms associated with the withdrawal process. Our goal is to keep clients as comfortable as possible during detoxification.
If a person is anticipating the experience of withdrawal, we strongly recommend admission to a detoxification program. Some of the consequences from attempting to detox without proper medical supervision can include: seizure, nausea, hallucinations, high blood pressure, severe anxiety, and sometimes even death.
It is highly recommended that clients stay beyond detox to take advantage of our full continuum of care. Our programs are voluntary, and length of stay varies based on the needs of the individual.
We understand that each person’s situation is different. Our main goal is to help anyone who has committed to sobriety recover in his or her own way. Our treatment programs include the following services:
